Welcome to Class 11!
Welcome to Class 11! Our class teacher is Mrs Turnbull and we are taught by Mrs Nazir on Thursdays. Other adults working with us in class are Mrs Briddock and Mrs Hinchliffe.
Here in Class 11, we are on our way to becoming the best class in Rotherham and indeed the world. We have just begun our journey into Key stage 2 and are very excited about being up in the Junior building!
P.E.
Our PE days are Wednesday and Tuesday afternoons. Please make sure you have your PE kit in school with you (indoor and outdoor kit).
Homework
Homework is set weekly on a Friday and is due in the following Friday. This will alternate between English and maths (set once a fortnight by your child’s maths teacher). Spellings are sent home weekly.
Reading
In Class 11, we are all working hard to acheive our Reading Reward. To achieve this, we need to read at home as much as possible to get lots of reading tokens. To help your child earn their reading tokens, please write in their reading record when you read with them at home. Please remember to read at home at least 3 times a week. Diaries will be checked every Friday but they need to be in school every day.
Spelling
Every Friday spellings are tested and a new set will be sent home. It is very important that spellings are practised and transferred into writing. Make sure you learn them!
