Here at Thorpe Hesley Primary School, we are very proud of our creative, broad, balanced curriculum which our staff have carefully developed with our children and context in mind. The children’s development is at the heart of all aspects of our curriculum. We offer all our children the opportunity to grow as individuals as well as equipping them with the skills to succeed in later life. The curriculum celebrates diversity and our pupils are taught and encouraged to care about each other and about their education and to show respect. We have a big focus on creativity, making learning meaningful and fun, and creating memorable learning experiences, for example, through themed days and creative projects. We also plan whole-school projects and themes that are woven in to the curriculum to promote creativity and create whole-school identity, ethos and belonging.
We are very proud that our curriculum is created by OUR staff, for OUR pupils.
